Mike Hannah

Mike is a 30 year law enforcement veteran with command experience in the Southern California area.  Proudly, his background is a broad base of expertise in community based policing and problem solving with the resort industry.  He has worked in post 911 with the Walt Disney Company, and the Anaheim/Orange County Visitors and Conventions Bureau. He has Incident Command experience for major incidents including the MLB World Series.  He has lectured at numerous public and private sector conferences including the Merchant’s Risk Council and the U.S. Dept. of Justice,  Problem Oriented Policing Association. His Master’s Degree is in Public Administration from Pepperdine University.

 

Dan Marweg

Daniel Marweg currently works as Director of Security and Safety for the Anaheim Hilton Hotel, a 1600 room convention property.  Marweg has developed extensive hotel security and safety expertise while serving with Hilton Hotels Corporation for over 13 years.  Marweg often consults on security and safety matters for hotel leaders within the community and Hilton’s family of brands.  He trains staff and guest lectures on specific hospitality law topics including, most recently: American with Disabilities Act and Workplace Violence.

Marweg is also a founding partner of HMW Consulting Group, a partnership of specialists in tourism, convention, hospitality and trade-show industries committed to providing the highest levels of expertise on safety and security issues for conferences, trade shows, and events.Daniel Marweg is also an adjunct faculty member at Cypress Community College  Marweg is an active advisory board member and partner for the School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. where he teaches his popular class, Hospitality Law.

 
Marweg has been instrumental in organizing California’s Tourism and Safety Conference since 2001.  He has served as President of the SCTSSA and is a respected member and speaker for the Anaheim’s Security and Safety Forum which brings local businesses, community leaders and police together to problem solve issues arising in and around the Anaheim Resort Area. An extremely active member in the City of Anaheim, Marweg sits on the Board of the Anaheim Police Activities League and is an advisor to the Chief of Police through the Chief’s Advisory Board.  Marweg’s understanding of both law enforcement and business needs offers a balanced perspective to each group.

 

James Wilkes

Jamie as he is known by, has resided in Southern California his entire life. 

He comes from a Law Enforcement Background; He is a practical down to earth results oriented professional, with substantial experience in training and adult instruction. He has been instrumental in planning and facilitating complex multi-jurisdictional response drills on the county and regional level. He has used and instructed the Incident Command System / Unified Command (ICS/UC). 

Jamie is a subject matter expert in interviewing and interrogations, and the rules that govern the admissibility of evidence. He has been a negotiator and currently leads the police crisis negotiation team. He has been an instructing and lecturing for over a decade.
